Smt. Veena Devi is currently serving as a member of the Parliament from Vaishali Lok Sabha Constituency of Bihar State. She won her electoral contest as the representative of Lok Jana Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) and NDA alliance defeating Vijay Kumar Shukla by more than 90000 votes from the Vaishali constituency in the general election of 2024. She is also appointed as the chairperson of the LJP party in the Parliament of India.

Veena Devi was born in the Darbhanga district of the Bihar district in the family of politician Upendra Prasad Singh and Sabujhkala Devi in 1967. She finished her schooling in her native place and passed 10th class from Bihar Board. She entered the politics of the state with her father. Veena Devi became a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party and contested her first election of the state assembly from the Gaighat constituency.
