V. Vijayendra Prasad is an Indian screenwriter and film director. Currently, he is a nominated Rajya Sabha MP. He was born on 01-Feb-1943 in Kovvur, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name is Shri Koduri Apparao and his mother’s name is Shrimati Koduri Achyamma. V. Vijayendra was nominated as a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, by the then President Ram Nath Kovind in 2022. He received his B.Sc. from Andhra University, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.
He was married to Late Shrimati Raja Nandini on 1 December 1966. They have two children (a boy and a girl). Vijayendra Prasad had ancestral lands in Kovvur which were lost due to the railway line.
