Surendra Prasad Yadav, a Senior Politician of Bihar State is an incumbent member of the Parliament of India. He joined the Parliament of India after winning the 18th Lok Sabha Election as the representative of Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) from the Jahanabad Lok Sabha Constituency. Surendra won the electoral contest of 2024 by defeating the Janta Dal(U) candidate Chandeshwar Prasad by a margin of more than one Lakh forty thousand votes securing total votes of four lakh forty-three thousand votes.

He was born in the family of Farming family of Bhuvneshwar Yadav and Kesari Devi in the Gaya district of Bihar in 1959. Surendra Prasad finished his higher education at Magadh University and came into contact with Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister of the Bihar state at a young age.
