Shri Sunil Kumar is a popular Indian Politician from Bihar. He has been a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha since 2020. In the 2024 General election, he was elected to the 18th Lok Sabha from Valmiki Nagar constituency by defeating the RJD candidate Deepak Yadav by 98,675 votes. Sunil Kumar is a member of Janata Dal (United). He was born to the Baidyanath Prasad Mahto and Sudama Devi in Pakaria Tola, Bahoranpur, west Champaran, Bihar on 27 May 2016. His father was a veteran Janata Dal (United) leader and former parliamentarian. Sunil Kumar completed his Graduation from M.J.K College Bettiah P. Champaran, Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University Muzaffarpur in 2005. He joined the politics inspired by his father Late Baidyanath Prasad Mahto.
