Sudhir Gadgil alias Dhananjay Hari Gadgil, a senior BJP politician from Maharashtra state is serving as a member of the state assembly. He was elected in the state assembly election 2024 from the Sangli constituency of Maharashtra. Sudhir won the seat in the tough contest in the Sangli seat from Indian National Congress party candidate Prithviraj Gulabrao Patil. The senior leader made his victory with a margin of more than thirty-six thousand votes. Sudhir or SUDHIRDADA Gadgil is joining the state assembly third time as the representative of the Sangli Lok Sabha seat.
He was born in Sangli in the family of Hari Vasudeo Gadgil in 1953. Sudhir Gadgil finished his schooling at the government schools of the town and earned a B. Com Degree from Shivaji University. Gadgil joined politics at a young age and started his social service in his hometown. He joined the Bhartiya Janta Party and became an active member of the party in local politics of the Sangli district. Shri Sudhir Gadgil first contested in the state assembly election in 2014 and joined the assembly as a member.
