Sk Nurul Islam of Haji Sk Nurul Islam, a current member of the parliament of India was born in 1963 in Bahera village of 24 Paraganas of West Bengal. He completed his schooling and started the local business of JArri in his small village. He has been interested in politics since his childhood. Sk Nurul Islam joined the Indian National Congress Party and contested in various local body elections of his district. He was elected as a member of Zilla Parishad from his district.
