Shri Shankar Lalwani, senior BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh state is serving his second consecutive term as the member of the Lok Sabha of the Parliament as the representative of Indore city constituency. He was fielded as the candidate of the party in the general election once again from the Indore constituency after reviewing his hold in the constituency and last performance as the MP. Shankar Lalwani once again secured the Indore seat for the BJP Party defeating the INC and INDIA alliance candidates.

He was born 1961 in 1961 in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. Late Shri Jamnadas Lalwani was in his own business in the city and his mother Late Smt Gouri Devi was house maker. After finishing his schooling in Indore city Shankar Lalwani joined Bombay University, Mumbai. He obtained a B. Tech degree and joined the business with his father. While Shankar Lalwani was in business in the city he was involved in Politics and became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Shri Shankar Lalwani contested in the local body election of Indore Municipality and served as the Chairman of the Municipal Corporation of Indore in 1994. He was active in the Local body election till 2019. Shankar Lalwani was promoted by the party in 2019 and introduced as the candidate of the party in the general election 2019. He won his first Lok Sabha election in 2019 and joined the Parliament of India. Shri Shankar Lalwani currently lives with his family in New Delhi on Humayun Road as a parliamentarian.
