Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh, a politician from Maharashtra state and current member of Lok Sabha, the lower house of Parliament of India was born in a traditional Marathi family in the Chincholi district of Maharashtra state in 1968. He was brought up by his father Uttamrao Deshmukh and his mother Savita Deshmukh with three siblings from the Marathi family. Sanjay Deshmukh is better known as a Social servant rather than a politician. In his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission of India, he stated himself as an agriculturist. He finished his schooling in his native village and Graduated in Commerce from Amravati University.

He started social service at an early age and founded the Ishwar Deshmukh Foundation. The foundation organizes skill development workshops across the state for unemployed youth and skill development education, Women safety workshops, and education for the poor children of the state. Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh has currently served as the director of the Yavatmal District Central Cooperative Bank for the last 16 years.
