Shri Sanjay Dina Patil, a Maharashtriyan politician is currently serving his second term as a member of the parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha. Sanjay Patil was contested as the candidate of NCP (Nationalist Congress Party- SCP from Mumbai North East constituency. He defeated Mihir Kotecha of the Bhartiya Janta Party in the general election of 2024 by a margin of around 29 thousand votes. Sanjay also served as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in 2004.

He was born into the political family of Dinanath Patil in Mumbai. His father was active in state politics as a member of the Indian National Congress Party.
