Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, Member of the parliament, Maharani of Bholanagar Princely state located in Odisha state of India. She was born into the family of Amar Singh and Prabha Singh in New Delhi. Amar Sing belongs to the Royal family of Rajasthan. She finished her schooling in Delhi. Sangeeta Kumari obtained a graduation degree from Jesus and married college, South Campus of Delhi University. Once again she pursued a Diploma in Computer engineering from Delhi University. She was married to the prince of Bholanagar, Kanak Vardhan Deo in an arranged marriage in October 1985. They both have a daughter in their family.

Her In-laws father and grandfather of her husband were in active politics. Kanak Vardhan joined politics and contested in the state assembly election from Patnagarh constituency of the Odisha state. Kanak encouraged Sangeeta and entered her into politics making her the primary member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. Sangeeta Kumari contested in the Lok Sabha election 1998 from Bholanagar Lok Sabha constituency and entered into the lower house of the parliament. She consecutively won the Bholanagar seat in 1999 and 2004.

Sangeeta Kumari won the contest against him in the general elections of 2019 and 2024 and currently serving as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha.
