Sandeep Kumar Pathak/ Sandeep Pathak Rajya Sabha Member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was born in 1979 in Chhattisgarh. He was born to a normal agriculturist family in a small village in the state. He have done his primary schooling from village school. He was moved to Bilaspur city with his relatives. The intelligent student was admitted to the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology for higher education. He moved abroad to complete his PhD and post-PhD research at Cambridge University and Oxford University.

Later, he joined the AAP Party after resigning from IIT Delhi as a lecturer.
