Shri Rodmal Nagar is currently serving his third term as a member of Parliament as the representative of the Bhartiya Janta Party from the Raigarh constituency. He first contested from the Raigarh constituency as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta party and won the elections in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. This constituency was earlier known as the constituency of the Congress Party. Rodmal Nagar retained the constituency in the next two elections. He defeated the senior congress leader of the Congress party Digvijaya Singh by almost one lakh fifty thousand votes.

Rodmal Nagar experienced leader of BJP was born in the family of Shri Bapulal & Chhamee Bai in Raypuriya town of Raigarh. He finished his schooling in his hometown and joined Madhav Science College, Ujjain, After completing his education he joined the BJP as a member and soon became a popular young member of the party.
