Shri Ravindra Dattaram Waikar, a renowned politician of Maharashtra state is serving his first term as a member of the Parliament of India in the 18th Lok Sabha. He was contested as the representative from Mumbai North West Lok Sabha Constituency as the candidate of Shiv Sena Party (SHS) and NDA Alliance. Ravindra Waikar won the election contest against Amol Kirtikar of Shiv Sena (UBT) only by the thinnest margin of 48 votes securing a total of 452,644 votes.
He was born in the family of Dattaram Waikar and Parvati Waikar in Mumbai. After finishing his schooling in Mumbai he joined Mumbai University and obtained a B. Sc degree. Ravindra Waikar was indulged in the business and soon he joined the Balasaheb Thackery Led Shiv Sena as a Member. He was first promoted as the candidate of the party in the state assembly election in 2009.
