Rajesh Ranjan aka Pappu Yadav, a Bahubali politician of the Bihar state was born in the family of landowning (Jamidar) of Chandra Narayan Prasad of Karveli Village, Madheoura district in 1967. His mother Shanti Priya was a Homemaker and she brought up Rajesh Ranjan or Pappu Yadav with his siblings. Pappu Yadav finished his schooling in his native place and went on to complete his higher education in Madhepura. He graduated in Political Science from BN Mamdal University, Madhepura. Later he obtained a diploma in disaster management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in Disaster Management and Human Rights.

Pappu Yadav said in his tweet that he would eliminate Lawrence Bishnoi easily if the government gave him the opportunity. Pappu Yadav entered into politics in 1990 as an independent contestant from the Singheswar constituency of the State assembly. He won and became the Bahubali politician of the Bihar state.
