Raj Thackrey prominent politician of Maharashtra state joined politics on the legacy of his father Swaraj Shrikant Thackeray and Bala Saheb Thackery-led Siv Sena. He was born in Mumbai and brought up by her mother Kunda Thackrey. Raj Thackrey finished his graduation and joined the politics of the state. He was one of the right hand of Bala Saheb Thackrey when he was alive. After the 1990s Bala Saheb Thackrey started paying attention to the future of his son Uddav Thackrey’s Political future. Raj Thackrey did not like the unexpected behavior of Bala Saheb because he thought he was the right choice for the hair of Shiv Sena after Bal Thackrey.

Although Raj Remained in Shiv Sena till 2005, He resigned from the membership of the Shiv Sena and announced that he was going to find a new political party. In March 2006 Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Party was founded by Raj Thackrey. He started developing the basic support of the MNS in Maharashtra state. He was an active leader of Shiv Sena and had a strong base in the Maharashtra state over the Marathi Voters. His political party was accepted by his supporters. Raj Thackrey has two children in his family, daughter Urvashi and Son Amit Thackrey. Amit Thackrey is active in politics with his father and his profession as well. Raj Thackrey is developing his support base with the local issue he raises for the upliftment of the Maratha community of the state. He banned the Australian Cricketers in the third season from playing in Mumbai because of the death of Indian Students in Australia.
