Shri Praveen Khandelwal is a prominent politician and the founder and general secretary of an organization called the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT). He is serving as a Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party. Praveen Khandelwal defeated the INC candidate, Jai Prakash Aggarwal with a margin of  89,325 votes. He got 53.46% of total votes.

He was born to Vijay Khandelwal and Surya Prabha Khandelwal in Delhi on 08 Oct 1960. Praveen Khandelwal did his law graduation (LLB) from the University of Delhi. He entered officially in politics in 2024. Before that, he engages in various social movements regarding business in Delhi.
