Smt. Pratibha Suresh Dhanorkar, a young politician of the Indian National Congress Party of Maharashtra state is currently serving her first term as a member of the Parliament. She contested from the 13, Chandrapur-Wani-Arni Constituency in the general election of 2024. Pratibha Dhanorkar defeated Sudhir Mungantiwar of the Bhartiya Janta Party by a margin of more than two lakh sixty thousand votes. She was earlier serving as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

Pratibha was born in the family of Suresh and Geeta in Yavatmal city of Wani District of Maharashtra. She completed her schooling in her hometown and dropped her education after higher secondary. Pratibha Dhanorkar joined the business of his husband after her marriage. Her Husband was active in the politics of Maharashtra as a member of Shiv Sena.

Pratibha Dhanorkar contested after the death of her husband in the Chandrapur constituency in the 2024 general elections in won the seat.
