Parshottam Rupala, a senior BJP leader from Gujarat state is currently serving as the sitting member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the parliament. He contested from the Rajkot Sabha constituency of Gujarat state in the 2024 general elections. Parshottambhai defeated Paresh Dhanani with a huge margin of More than 4 Lakh Eighty thousand Votes. He is serving his first term as a member of the Lok Sabha. Earlier in his political career, Parshottam Rupala served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Gujarat State and a Member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India.
He was born in the family of Patidar community of the state to Hariben Khodabhai and Khodabhai in 1954. Parshottam Rupala finished his schooling and graduated in science from Rajkot University and a bachelor of Education from Gujarat University. He served as a teacher before entering state politics.
