Shri Pankaj Choudhary is a current member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the Parliament. He contested in the general election 2024 from Maharajganj Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh. His political career began with his contest in the local body election in Gorakhpur. He joined the Bhartiya Janta Party at a young age and became a member of the Gorakhpur municipality in 1989. Pankaj Chaudhary is serving as the Union minister of the state in the Ministry of Finance.
He was born in the family of Jamidar Bhagwati Prasad Chaudhary and Smt Ujjwal Chaudhary of Gorakhpur in 1964. Pankaj Choudhary completed his schooling and graduated from Gorakhpur University. He started politics and social service in Gorakhpur after his education. Pankaj first contested in the general election in 1991 as a member of the parliament and he is serving his 7th term as a member of the parliament.
