Shri Nagesh Bapurao Patil Aashtikar, the Maharashtrian politician is serving his first term as a member of the parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha. He was contested as the candidate of Shiv Sena (UBT) and INDIA Alliance from the Hingoli Lok Sabha Seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Nagesh Patil Ashtikar defeated Baburao Kadam Kohalikar BJP/ NDA candidate by a margin of over one lakh votes. He is serving his first term in the parliament of India as the representative of Shiv Sena (UBT).

Nagesh Patil was born in a simple family of Shivram Patil Ashtikar and Chandrabhagabai Bapurao Patil of Hadgaon Village of Nanded in 1972. He finished his education at Nanded University and earned graduation degree in commerce. Nagesh Patil Ashtikar entered politics as a member of Shiv Sena and became the Chairman of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee of Hadgaon. He first contested in state assembly elections in 2014.
