Shri Mushrif Hasan Miyalal, Senior politician of Maharashtra and current member of Maharashtra state assembly was born in Kolhapur District in 1954. He was fielded as the candidate of the Nationalist Congress Party, Led by Ajeet Pawar from the Kagal assembly constituency in the general assembly election 2024 against the INDIA alliance candidate. Mushrif Hasan secures the assembly seat by defeating his nearest rival of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar).

He won the contest of the 2024 assembly election narrow margin of just ten thousand votes against Ghatge Samarjeetsinh Vikramsinh. His political career started as an active member of the National Congress party at a young age as a social activist. After the separation of the Congress Party in 1999, Mushrif Hasan Miyalal joined Sharad Pawar and became a Member of the Nationalist Congress Party.
