Muhammed Hamdullah Sayeed, Indian politician and youngest politician at 26 years in the 2009 Lok Sabha of parliament was born in Mysore in the political family of veteran Congress Leader Padanatha Mohammed Sayeed (P. N. Syeed) who was born in 1941 on the Island of Lakshadweep. He joined the Congress party and was elected as a member of the parliament in 1967. Mohd Hamdullah Sayeed was 26 years old when he was elected first time as the MP. PN Syeed Recorded ten consecutive wins in the Lok Sabha Election from Lakshadweep as the candidate of the Congress Party till 2004. He was died in 2005.

Hamdullah Syeed contested the election from Lakshadweep as the candidate of the Indian National Congress party. He won the election by a margin of more than one thousand votes in the general election of 2024. His first entry into the parliament was in 2009. He was introduced as the candidate of the party in the 2009 general election. Later, Muhammed Hamdullah Sayeed joined the team of Manmohan Singh led the UPA Government from 2009 to 2004. He lost the next two elections.
