Mathukumilli Sribharat or Mathukumilli Bharat is an Educationist and member of Lok Sabha and was born in Hyderabad in 1989. His grandfather M. V. V. S. Murthi was a politician/ businessman and founder of Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITM). He completed his education in Hyderabad. After completing his graduation in engineering, he moved to us for higher education in the USA. Mathukumilli Bharat completed his Master’s in Business Administration degree from Stanford University in 2016.
He returned and started working as the president of GITM College based in Visakhapatnam. Shri Mathukumilli Sribharat founded the Kautilya School of Public Policy in Hyderabad. He joined the Telugu Desam Party and started his political career as a member of the party. He lost the general election of 2019 as the candidate of TDP from Visakhapatnam. In the 2024 general election, he was renominated as the candidate and won the Visakhapatnam constituency as the candidate of TDP.
