Shri Kali Charan Munda, a prominent Indian politician and Ex MLA from Jharkhand is serving as a member of Lok Sabha by representing the Khunti Loksabha Constituency. He was elected to the 18th Lok Sabka by winning the 2024 General Election and defeating the BJP Cnaiddate from Arjun Munda with the majority of 1,49,675 votes. Munda is an active member of the India National Congress.

He was born to Muchiray Munda and Radhika Devi in Jharkhand on 10 November 1961. Kali Charan Munda did Matric from BSEB  in 1980 and also completed Intermediate from Ranchi University in Ranchi in 1982. He is an Agriculturist by profession. Then, 1992 Assembly Election of Bihar, he contested the election for the first time and became the MLA. Munda served as the MLA in Bihar Legislative Assembly from 1992 to 1995 and from 1995 to 2000 as the candidate of INC. After the formation of Jharkhand in 2000, he also contested many elections but did not get success. In 2024, he competed in the 2024 General Parliamentary Election and became MP with outstanding performance.
