Smt. June Maliah is a famous Indian Politician and actress who predominantly works in Bengali cinema and television. She is a Parliament member in the 18th Lok Sabha, representing the Medinipur Lok Constituency. June Mliah won the 2024 General Parliamentary Election by defeating the BJP candidate Agnimitra Paul by 27,191 votes. She is the candidate of the All India Trinamool Congress.
Maliah was born in Darjeeling, West Bengal, on 24 June 1970 to Arun Prasad Dobe and Parul Dobe. She completed her Secondary School Examination From the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Open School, in 1988. June Maliah is a famous Bengali Cinema actor who has worked in various famous films, documentaries, television shows, and web series, such as Lathi (1996), Kishmish (2022), Didi No. 1 (reality game show), and so on. Later, she joined the state politics with CM Mamata Banerjee’s TMC party.
