Shri Javed Ali Khan, Senior Leader of Uttar Pradesh state is currently serving his second term as a member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India. His political journey was started in his college years. Javed Ali was first elected as a Member of the Rajya Sabha as the candidate of the Samajwadi Party in 2014. Javed Ali Khan served as the District President of the Samajwadi Party in 2006.

He was born in Mirzapur, of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh in the family of Ashfaq Ali Khan and Mushtaq Begum in 1962. Shri Javed Ali Khan was brought up in his native place and moved to Delhi for higher education. He obtained an MA Degree from Jamia Millia Islamia College. His political career started in his college years and he was elected as the president of the Student Union as the candidate of SFI.

Javed Ali Khan returned to his native place after his education and started farming in his native place. He joined the Samajwadi Party as a member in 1994. Shri Javed Ali Khan was noticed by the President of the Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh in his electoral campaign in 1999. He contested in state assembly elections in 2006 and 20027 but was defeated. Now Javed Ali Khan is Residing in New Delhi at Gaffar Manjil, Jamia Nagar as a member of the Parliament (Rajya Sabha).
