Hibi Eden, Kerala’s Young politician and current member of the 18th Lok Sabha of the Parliament of India is serving his second consecutive term as the representative of the Indian National Congress Party from Ernakulam constituency. He belongs to the family of George Eden, Who served as the member of the parliament multiple times from Ernakulam constituency. Hibi’s father died while he was working in his office.

His mother died dead an early age and he lost his father in 2003. Young Hibi inherited politics from his father and was active in student politics in the Kerala state. He was encouraged to join the Indian National Congress Party as an active politician. Congress party offered him the first time seat in the Ernakulam state assembly in 2006. Hibi Eden won the election and joined the state assembly at the young age of 28 years.

Hibi was born in Ernakulam city of Kerala in 1983. After the death of his mother, he and his younger sister were brought up by his aunt. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in commerce from HS College of the city. He actively participated in student union politics in the high college. Hibi Eden was introduced to central politics by the Congress party in the 2019 general election 2019 from his father’s constituency, Ernakulam. Later, he won the election and joined the Parliament of India (Lok Sabha).
