He defeated the Jashpalsinh Mahendrasinh Padhiyar from the Indian National Congress by 582126 votes in the 2024 General Election. Hemang Joshi is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party.

He was born to Yogesh Bhai Joshi and Priti Joshi in Porbandar, Gujarat, on 31 January 1991. Dr Hemang Joshi earned degrees in various fields, such as BPT, MHRM, PhD in Leadership. He is active in politics at college but does not participate in official elections.
