He was born in 1961 in the small village of Sunok of Mehsana. Haribhai Patel completed his schooling at a local government school and graduated from Kala Kendra College of Fine Arts, Vallabh Vidyanagar. He worked as a principal of The new Progressive College of Fine Arts Mehsana. Later, Haribhai Patel joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) after retirement.
