Godam Nagesh (G. Nagesh) senior politician and sitting Member of Parliament was born in 1964 in Jathrala Village of Adilabad District of Telangana State. His father G. Rama Rao was in state politics and served as the minister in the State assembly from the Boath seat of the state. Godam Nagesh hails from the Gond tribal community of center India. Adilabad is the district of Telangana state where the Gond community is in majority. He finished his schooling and higher education in his hometown and finished his M. Ed from Osmania University.
Agriculturist by profession G. Nagesh joined politics just as a follower of his father. He started campaigning for his father in the assembly election from the Boath seat of Andhra Pradesh.
