Dr. K. Laxman, a Senior Politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Telangana state of India is now serving his first term as a member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India. He was introduced in Rajya Sabha Polls 2022 from Uttar Pradesh state. K Laxman was active in politics for a long time as a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party in Andhra Pradesh state.
He was first elected as a member of the Andhra Pradesh state assembly in 1999. Dr K. Laxman was born in the family of Shri Kova Ramulu and Smt Kova Mangamma in 1956 in Hyderabad. He earned a B. S., M. Sc, and Ph.D( Botany) from Osmania University of Hyderabad. His career in politics started as the candidate of the BJP in the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly elections.
