Dorjee Tshering Lepcha, Senior BJP Leader from Sikkim state of India is currently serving as a member of the Upper House of Parliament of India. He was fielded by the Bhartiya Janta Party in the Rajya Sabha election 2024 from the Sikkim state seat. Dorjee Lepcha is serving his first term as a member of the parliament. Tshering Lepcha was born in Turung district of the state in 1957. His schooling was done in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh in Army School. He dropped education after completing Intermediate. Dorjee Tshering Lepcha went back to his hometown and started social service and politics. He was elected unopposed as a member of the Sikkim state assembly consecutively 6timese from 1999 to 2019.
