Dr. Dinesh Sharma Rajya Sabha MP and former deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh was born in Lucknow in 1964. He started his political career as a member of the Student wing of Rashtriya Swaymsevak Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad. Later he continued his membership with the party after completing his education. Professor by profession Dr. Dinesh Sharma was very active in state politics and has good command over the local public. He was chosen and identified by former Prime Minster Atal Bihari Vajpayee in her student politics encouraged him to keep his political ambition up.
