Dilip Saikia, a Young Politician from the Assam State of India is a current member of the Lok Sabha of the parliament. Dilip contested as the representative of BJP in the general election 2024 from the Darrang Udalguri constituency of Assam state. He won the election against Indian National Congress party and INDIA Alliance candidate Madhab Rajbangshi by more than 3 lakh votes. Dilip Saikia is serving his first term as a member of the Parliament.

He was born in Nalbari town of Assam State in the family of Prabin Saikia and Puspalata Saikia in 1973. Dilip Saikia completed his graduation from Guwahati Commerce College. He was active in youth politics in his college years and joined the Bhartiya Janta Party in 2015. He lives in Mangaldai city and has his political office in the city. Dilip was an active member of ABVP and before joining BJP he worked to generate a strong vote bank of the party in Assam state. He now officially resides in New Delhi as a member of the Parliament.

The organization NYKS comes under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the government of India. He started working from the New Delhi office of NYKS and contested in the general election of 2019. Dilip won the Lok Sabha seat and joined the parliament of India.
