Shri Dileshwar Kamait is an Indian politician who served as a member of parliament for the 18th Lok Sabha by representing the Supaul Lok Sabha Constituency. He won the 2024 General Election by defeating the rival candidate, Chandrahas Chaupal from RJD with over margin of 1,69,803 votes. He got 48.33% of total votes. Dileshwar is a Member of JD(U) candidate.
He was born to the Kusho Kamait and Musharnia Devi in Lakshminia village of Supaul district in Bihar on 02 February 1946. Dileshwar Kamiat completed his B.A. degree from Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur, Bihar. His primary profession is Agriculturist and Politician. Before entering politics, he was an officer in the Indian Railways until 2008. He started his political career by being elected as an MLA in Bihar.
