Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress, belonging to Punjab. He is serving as the Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha by representing the Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency. Dharamvira Gandhi won the election against Aam Aadmi Party candidate Dr Balbir Singh with a margin of 14,831 votes. He joined the INC in 2024 and contested the 2024 General Parliamentary Election.

He was born on 1 June 1951 in Rupar, Punjab to the family of Shri Bhagat Ram Sharma and Smt Telo Devi. Dharamvira Gandhi has earned a degree in MD Medicine from Punjabi University, Patiala. He became a reputed cardiologist in Patiala. Dr. Dharamvira also worked as a senior lecturer in the cardiology department of the Government Medical College, Patiala. He is active in politics during college time.

Dr Dharamvira was also detained for a month in Amritsar during his college for protesting against the 1977 Emergency. He joined politics inspired by the 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement and campaigned for the AAP during the 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. Dharamvira Gandhi also contested the 2014 Indian general election from Patiala on an AAP ticket and was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha. He resigned from the AAP and established his party Punjab Front in 2016 and contested the election in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
