Shri Chintamani Maharaj, a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Chhattisgarh state is serving his first term as a member of the Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha. He was elected as a member in the general election of 2024. Chintamani Maharaj defeated his opponent of the Indian National Congress Party and the INDIA candidate with a huge margin of Votes. His political career started in 2014 as the candidate of INC in the Chhattisgarh state assembly elections.

He was born in the family of Shri Rameshwar Singh and Smt Maa Purnima in Srikot town of Chhattisgarh state. Chintamani Maharaj completed his schooling at Sanskrit Mahvidyalaya, Jaspur, Chattisgarh till his Intermediate and started working belong to the Sant Samaj of the Surguja area which covers many other towns with high populations of his supporters. He started his politics as a member of the BJP but joined the Indian National Congress Party in 2013. Chintamani Maharaj was elected as MLA in 2014 and 2019.

Shri Chintamani Maharaj lives in New Delhi at his official residence as a member of the Parliament (Lower House).
