Shri Chandrakant Handore, a senior congress leader from Maharashtra state is serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India. He has been in Maharashtra state politics since a young age and started his political journey at the local body elections in Mumbai city. Chandrakant Handore served as a Member of the Maharashtra state assembly twice and was the minister of the state government from 2004- 2009.
