Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, the current Union Minister of the state and member of the 18th Lok Sabha of Parliament was born in 1967 in Bhimvaram, Andhra Pradesh. He was born to a middle-class family and completed his schooling in his hometown. After completing his graduation he worked with AISAF and joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980. Shri B. S. Varma worked as a ground-level member of the party for a long time. He served various posts of the party in the Andhra Pradesh state.
