Arvind Dharmapuri, former first-class cricket player and sitting member of the lower house of the Parliament was born in 1976 in Korutla village of Jagtial District of Telangana state. He completed his education in his hometown and joined politics with his father. His father D. Srinivas was the leader of the Congress party. He served as the president of the State Congress party and joined the parliament of India as a member of the Upper House. His family belongs to the Other backward Class community of the state.
He joined Bhartiya Janata Party as his father was the politician of Jana Sangh. Arvind Dharmapuri is called the politician with deep insight of the people in his constituency. He is known for his Social Service in the state. He founded the Arvind Dharmapuri Foundation, an NGO that serves to save the critically ill children of the state. Shri Arvind Dharmapuri contested the general election of 2024 as the candidate of BJP from Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency and was elected as a member of Parliament.
