Shri Anil Baluni, a young politician of Uttarakhand state is serving his first term as a member of the Parliament in the Lok Sabha. Anil Baluni contested in the general election 2024 as the candidate of the Bhartiya Janta Party from the Garhwal constituency of Uttarakhand state. He defeated Shri Ganesh Godiyal the senior congress Leader of the state by a huge margin.

Anil Baluni was born in New Delhi in the migrated family from Uttarakhand of Shri Pitamber Dutt Baluni and Smt Sumitra Baluni. His father was working in the private sector in New Delhi and his mother was house maker. He completed his schooling at a government school in New Delhi and earned a B. Com Degree from Delhi University. Young Anil was involved in politics during his college years. He decided to move to Uttarakhand and joined Bhartiya Janta Party as a member.
