Shri Ajay Kumar Mandal is an Indian Politician and serving Member of the Lok Sabha. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, from Bhagalpurm by defeating the INC candidate, Ajeet Sharma, with a margin of 104868 votes. Ajay Mandal MP is a member of Janata Dal (United). He was born to Ram Das Mandal and Tuso Devi in 1978 in Golsadak, Ghogha, Bhagalpur, Bihar. He has not completed any special education and just completed the 9th Pass/under-matric. Ajay Kumar Mandal entered politics by joining the JDU under Nitesh Kumar’s leadership. He is one of the rooted politicians of Bihar who emerged by his one ability.

Ajay Kumar Mandal was elected three times to the Bihar Legislative Assembly, two times from Nathnagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and once from Kahalgaon (Vidhan Sabha constituency) from 2005 to 2019. He also served as the Chairperson of the Govt. Assurance Committee, Bihar Legislative Assembly, from 2015 to 2019. In May 2019, Ajay Mandal was elected to the 17th Lok Sabha for the first time by defeating the JDU candidate, Shailesh Kumar (Bulo Mandal).
