Aditya Surjewala, a young Indian politician and son of a renowned politician of the Indian National Congress Party and member of the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament of India was born in 1999 in Narwana city of Haryana. His father and mother brought him up under the supervision of his grandfather Shamsher Singh Surjewala. His grandfather was also a politician in the Haryana state. He served as a member of the state legislative assembly and was appointed as the minister of Agriculture. Aditya finished his early schooling in Narwana city and moved to Bangalore for higher education. After metric from International School Bangalore, he moved to finish his B. Com degree in Logistics from British University.
Later, he spent some time in Canada after completing his Master’s degree. Aditya moved to Canada in 2019 and joined various corporations as a professional worker. He returned to India while his father was denied by the Party high command for the Kaithal assembly seat. His father introduced his son Aditya to the same constituency, from which he was elected as MLA twice in 2009 and 2014.

Aditya was married to Anushka Gupta in Feb 2024 after he joined the Indian National Congress Party. He lives in his ancestral home with his mother father mother and younger brother Arjun. He regularly visits the Congress party office and looks after the political issues of his constituency now. Aditya Surjewala was very affirmative in his political campaigns in his constituency about development and law and order. However, his opponent candidate Leela Ram who defeated his father from the same constituency alleged him by stating that he came from outside of India and was not an Indian. Aditya Surjewala defeated Leela Ram Gurjar (Bhartiya Janata Party) by more than eight thousand votes in the contest.
