A. A. Rahim or A Abdul Rahim, politician and Rajya Sabha member of parliament was born in 1980 in Kerala. Advocate by profession he started his career as a politician from his student years. He was a strong follower of the Leftist Party CPI(M) of Kerala State and joined the Student Federation of India in the university elections. He was born into the family of war veteran M. Abdul Samad.
