Imran Masood is a well-known Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh. He has been serving as a Member of Parliament by representing the Saharanpur Lok Sabha Constituency since June 2024. Imran defeated BJP candidate Raghav Lakhanpal with a majority of 64,542 votes. He is a member of the Indian National Congress. Previously, he was also affiliated with the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.

He was born to a political background family of Rashid Masood and Najma Masood in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh on 02 Apr 1970. His father Rashid Masood was a 9-time MP, 5-time Lok Sabha from Saharanpur, and 4-time Rajya Sabha member of the Indian National Congress party. Imran Masood completed his high school education at HR Inter College Gangoh, UP.

Imran started his political journey by being elected as the Chairman of Saharanpur Municipal Corporation in 2006. Before this, he also handles the political affairs of his father Rashid Masood. He also served as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2007 to 2o12. Shri Imran Masood also contested the 2012 & 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election from Nakur Constituency but lost. In 2014, he also lost the 16th Lok Sabha Election. In the 2019  General Election, Imran was again defeated by BSP candidate Haji Fazlur Rehman. In 2024, he won the election and became a member of the 18th Lok Sabah.
