Dr. C. N. Manjunath is an Indian cardiologist turned politician. He belongs to Karnataka and serves as the sitting Member of the Lok Sabha from Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha seat. He won the 2024 General Election by defeating the Indian National Congress’s candidate, D. K. Suresh with over 2,69,647. In this Lok Sabha seat INC candidate DK Suresh was continuously winning the election in 2013, 2014 & 2019.

CN Manjunath was born to Nanjappa Gowda and Shambhamma in the Hassan district of the south Indian state of Karnataka on 22 July 1957. He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and MD, DM (Cardiology) from Kasturba Medical College of Manipal. Manjunath is a doctor by profession and started his career as an intern at Bangalore Medical College in 1982.
