Dr. Faggan Singh Kulaste, a senior politician of the Bhartiya Janta Party from Madhya Pradesh state is a member of the parliament in the Union minister of the government of India. Bhartiya Janta Party announced Faggan Singh as the candidate from Mandla constituency in the general election 2024. He won the election defeating Omkar Singh Markam of the Indian National Congress party by more than one lakh votes. Faggan Singh Kulaste is serving his seventh term as a member of the parliament.
He was born in the tribal family of Shobhan Singh and Hirobai Kulaste in 1959. After completing his schooling, he joined Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar, and earned an MA, B.Ed. Degree. Faggan Singh Kulaste earned his LLB degree from Rani Durgawati University Jabalpur. He was involved in social service and politics from a young age and joined the Bhartiya Janta Party as a member. Dr Faggan won his direct electoral contest in the state assembly election in 1990, and the first Lok Sabha election in 1996.
