Dr. Amol Ramsing Kolhe, a Marathi actor and politician is currently serving his second consecutive term as a member of the parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha. He contested in the 2024 general election as the candidate of Nationalist Congress party candidate. Amol secures the victory over Shivajirao Adhalarao Patil of NCP- NDA candidate gaining a margin of more than one lakh forty thousand votes.
He was born in a Marathi family of Ramsing Bhaguji Kolhe and Ranjana Kolhe in 1980. Amol Kolhe was brought up in Pune and finished his MBBS degree from Mumbai. He joined the film industry and started working in Marathi TV serials. Dr Amol Kolhe is known for his role in the Raja Shivchatrapati TV serial as Chhatrapati Shivaji. Later, he joined politics as a member of Shiv Sena in 2014.
