Tejashwi Yadav became a known politician in India for her continuous appearance on social media and news channels for his political interests and other issues. He was born in  Patna Bihar in the Family of the former chief minister of Bihar state Lalu Prasad Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav moved to New Delhi to finish his schooling after primary education in Patna. Bihar. He was enrolled in Delhi Public School Rama Krishna Puram New Delhi. He was interested in playing cricket from his school days and his father also backed him to participate in the school’s cricket match then he became the captain of his school. Young Tejashwi played for the School till he was in 9th class. After passing ninth class he dropped school and started playing for New Delhi in domestic cricket.

He was selected as the stand-up player for the U19 Cricket international team in 2017. Tejashwi Yadav professionally joined the Delhi Daredevil IPL Cricket team in the first season of the IPL 2008. He remained as a reserve cricket player till 2012. Tejashwi Yadav moved back to Patna after being released by the DD team and joined politics with his father and brother Tej Pratap Yadav. In the 2015 state assembly election, his father allied with the Indian National Congress Party and Janta Dal(U). The alliance nominated him as the candidate of the Raghopur state assembly constituency. He won the first state assembly election and was sworn into the government of the state as the Deputy Chief Minister.
