Siddaramaiah or Siddu is a senior congress leader and current Chief Minister of Karnataka state was born in August 1947. He has been serving as the CM of the state since 2023 after the Indian National Congress party gained a clear mandate in the assembly election. He was born in a farming family in the remote village of Siddaramanahundi of Karnataka state, At that time the village was in Mysore princely state. Siddaramaiah completed his AW degree and started practicing law in Mysore. He was married to Parvathi Siddaramaiah. His elder son “Rakesh Siddaramaiah” died in 2016 due to multi-organ failure. His other son “Yathindra Siddaramaiah” contested and joined the state assembly after winning the Varuna Constituency of the state. Unofficial records and other sources state him as an atheist but recently he opened up on the matter and said that he is spiritual, not atheist.
